I'm a software engineer by trade. Poetry is the thing I do because I want to, not because anyone's paying me to. I write down what I notice, mostly so I don't lose it. Some of it turns into essays. Some stays a fragment. Some of it turns into a series. All of it started as a line in a notebook like this one.
